Grand Master Stephen Westbrook

Grand Master Westbrook began his taekwondo journey more than 50 years ago at the age of 10. At just 12 years old, he won Overall Grand Champion. When GM Westbrook was 16 years old, he opened his first Taekwondo club with his mother as the business owner in Henderson, Kentucky. In 1978 a young Westbrook met Grand Master H.U Lee, and they had an instant connection, leading him to start training under him. He earned the rank of Master in 1996 and has developed more than 14 masters throughout his teaching as of 2016. He was also instrumental in the development and growth of combat weapon sparring (stick fighting). Throughout his martial arts journey, GM Westbrook has won numerous awards and opened numerous schools around the nation. Grand Master Westbrook is part of the Founders group of the GTMA-Global Traditional Martial Arts. He recieved his Grand Mastership in GSHIM taekwondo in 2022. He is not only an extremely knowledgeable Grand Master in the art of taekwondo, but he is also a father, husband, founder, business owner, and mentor.
